Who Are We
Ipazia Production is an artistic production company founded in June 2018 by two brothers who, despite their completely different backgrounds and personalities, share a passion for culture, art, and innovation. With great enthusiasm and a healthy dose of recklessness, given the challenging times facing those seeking to invest in culture, Donatella and Tommaso founded Ipazia Production with the aim of encouraging all those who wish to express themselves openly through productions in which artists feel free to express their feelings, emancipating themselves from the stereotypes imposed by the current cultural landscape.
Ipazia Production therefore ambitiously aims to break the current standardization in this sector by offering artistic experiences and ideas that awaken the general public to worlds and realities that are underrepresented or under-reported.
The pursuit of innovative projects on a national and international scale, of spaces beyond those typically dedicated to culture and entertainment, and the study and analysis of even irreverent proposals are the hallmarks of Ipazia Production.

Donatella Busini
Presidente
Donatella Busini, classe 1971, si è laureata in Fisica per poi lavorare nel settore dell’Innovazione Tecnologica ricoprendo ruoli manageriali presso importanti aziende di consulenza High Tech in Italia e all’estero. È autrice, attrice e produttrice teatrale, titolare di Ipazia Production, società di produzione artistica nella quale ha voluto coniugare la sua più che ventennale esperienza manageriale con l’amore e la passione per il teatro e la volontà di espressione del libero pensiero. Il suo primo testo, L’Inizio, è stato tra i lavori segnalati al premio Fersen 2019 ed è risultato Semifinalista al concorso Calindri nella sessione Donne e Finalista al premio Quasimodo. Il suo successivo lavoro, il monologo Svetlana, ha vinto nel 2019 il premio di miglior testo preso la rassegna Laccio Rosso promossa dal teatro Antigone in Roma e il premio Antigone assegnato dallo stesso. Svetlana è stata finalista nella sessione Monologhi presso il Premio Ruzzante. Io ed Elena ha avuto una menzione al merito come miglior dramma dal Teatro dei Marsi di Avezzano, ha vinto il premio Anima Mundi per la scrittura femminile e il Premio Lago Gerundio.

Vasta esperienza nella gestione e nei fondi strutturali dell’UE. Dirigente per fatturato > 600 k. Responsabile delle Strategie di Internazionalizzazione per aziende private dell’Est Europa (incoming & outcoming). > 10 anni Professionista nei finanziamenti UE in Romania, per PMI e multinazionali. Docente, analista commerciale e consulente aziendale qualificato. Progettista di Fondi Strutturali (per PA e settore privato), esperto in Project Management e Commercio Internazionale e Promozione del Territorio. Sostenere la crescita e la competitività, difendere le aziende nei Balcani e fare campagne sulle questioni che maggiormente influenzano le loro prestazioni. Passione per la leadership, l’istruzione superiore e l’innovazione.

Ipazia Production was born from the desire to create a business whose purpose is the rediscovery of free thought through art and culture.
At a time when beauty, exploration, and knowledge are no longer considered defining values in a forward-looking society, Ipazia Production has decided to invest in them and give those who still believe in talent, creativity, and the constant search for new forms of expression the opportunity to realize their aspirations.
In a society that is leading to the standardization of tastes and forms of entertainment, Ipazia Production aims to produce diverse models of aesthetic and playful interaction.
The choice of the production company’s name reflects these intentions, and the reference to the first champion of free thought is not accidental but strongly intentional. Drawing inspiration from Ipazia, the production intends to foster a propulsive push toward modernity of expression and experimentation, and a freedom to develop and interpret the world through art in its most irreverent and iconoclastic forms.
The international scope of Ipazia Production further strengthens this perspective.
