Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs

Erasmus means mobility, yes but this time for Young Entrepreneurs

What comes to mind when you hear ‘Erasmus’? For many, it’s those unforgettable days spent abroad discovering new cultures, forming friendships across borders, learning to cook local dishes, practicing languages, and exploring the wonders of Europe.

At Ipazia Production SRL, we believe that same spirit of curiosity and exchange applies to entrepreneurship. Today, thanks to Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs (EYE), aspiring entrepreneurs can experience mobility like never before gaining professional insights, cross-border connections, and creative inspiration, all while developing their own business ventures.
This is a moment of discovery, where nationality becomes secondary and the shared language is innovation, creativity, and ambition.

What’s Erasmus For Young Entrepreneurs

While the Erasmus student exchange programme is widely celebrated, fewer know about Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs a transformative initiative designed for young innovators and business founders.

Over the last decade, more than 11,000 entrepreneurial exchanges have been facilitated, making EYE a cornerstone for building skills, expanding networks, and fostering a more dynamic and competitive Europe.

The programme pairs new entrepreneurs with experienced SME owners for 1 to 6 months, offering hands-on learning in real business environments.

EYE in Europe and beyond

The programme has received over 20,000 applications and facilitated 11,000 exchanges across 45 countries.

Italy and Greece remain among the most active participants. Beyond the EU, exchanges are also possible with Canada, South Korea, Singapore, the United States, and the United Kingdom creating a truly global platform for entrepreneurial growth.

This broad network offers young entrepreneurs the opportunity to build global awareness, strengthen their skills, and access new markets.

News about EYE programme in 2023

With the new programme cycle starting in 2023, the European Commission introduced updated KPIs to encourage participation from the digital and energy sectors, while continuing to support the Cultural and Creative Industries. This aligns the programme with Europe’s strategic priorities for 2021–2027.

Our role

Since 2022, our organisation has been part of the programme and will continue next year in collaboration with a consortium of several partners, acting as a host organisation in Romania for new entrepreneur exchanges. Of these exchanges, 40% will be dedicated to supporting cooperation between young entrepreneurs and enterprises operating in the Cultural and Creative sectors.

As Ipazia Production SRL, we support:
